This Privacy Policy describes how RemoteBill (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, stores, protects, and shares information when you use our iOS application, website, and related services (collectively the “Service”). By accessing or using RemoteBill, you agree to the data practices outlined in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Manually Enter

• Business name, personal full name, address, contact email, tax ID number
• Client names, contact information, billing addresses for invoicing
• Invoice line items, pricing, tax values, platform fee deduction records

1.2 Automatically Collected Data

• App crash logs, basic device type, iOS version for troubleshooting
• In-app purchase subscription status to unlock Pro features

1.3 Optional Permissions

• Photo Library / Camera: Only if you choose to upload client profile photos; never accessed without your explicit permission.
• iCloud: Sync is opt-in only, used to replicate your local data across your own Apple devices.

2. How We Use Your Data

• Generate invoices, income reports, tax preparation exports you request
• Sync your data between your devices when iCloud Sync is enabled
• Verify subscription eligibility for RemoteBill Pro features
• Fix bugs, improve app stability and core functionality
• Respond to your support email inquiries

We do not sell your personal or financial data to third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Local Storage & iCloud Sync

Nearly all your financial data is stored locally on your iPhone/iPad by default. When you enable iCloud Sync, your data is synced to your personal iCloud account governed by Apple’s iCloud privacy terms. We cannot access your private iCloud data.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

Your data remains stored on your device until you manually delete individual records, delete the app, or clear app local storage. Uninstalling RemoteBill removes all local invoice, client and profile data from your device.

5. Third Party Services

• Apple App Store & StoreKit: Process subscription payments and purchase validation
• Apple iCloud: Optional cross-device synchronization

6. Children’s Privacy

Our Service is intended for users 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

7. Policy Updates

We may revise this Privacy Policy occasionally. Material changes will be notified inside the application or posted on this page with updated revision date.
