Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a binding legal agreement between you (the “User”) and RemoteBill (“we”, “us”, “our”). By downloading, installing, accessing or using our iOS application and website (the “Service”), you agree to abide fully by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use this Service. If you are using this service on behalf of a business entity, you represent you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

2. License Grant

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use RemoteBill for your personal or small business internal bookkeeping, invoicing, and tax preparation purposes. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, modify, copy, distribute, resell or sublicense our application code or assets.

3. User Content Responsibility

All invoices, client information, tax data, business details you input into RemoteBill are your sole property. You are fully responsible for accuracy, legality and compliance of all financial records you create and store within the app.

4. Subscription & Payment Terms

• RemoteBill offers a free limited tier and paid annual subscription tier (RemoteBill Pro).
• All payments are processed via Apple StoreKit through your Apple ID account.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the billing renewal date inside your Apple account settings.
• Refunds are governed exclusively by Apple App Store refund policies; we cannot issue direct refunds manually.

5. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the service for illegal accounting, tax evasion, fraudulent invoicing activity
• Attempt to bypass subscription feature locks or modify in-app purchase logic
• Host, resell, share or redistribute the app to third parties

6. Data Backup & Limitation of Liability

We strongly recommend you regularly export local backups of your financial data. The Service is provided “as-is” without warranty of uninterrupted operation. We are not liable for lost profits, lost data, tax penalties, indirect damages arising from your use of this application.

7. Intellectual Property

RemoteBill name, logo, design, application code, text and interface layout are protected copyright and trademark property of RemoteBill. You may not reproduce our branding without written consent.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time by deleting the application from your device.

9. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of revised terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the United States, applicable to your local jurisdiction.
